What does escaping do?
A JSON string literal cannot contain raw newlines, tabs, quotes or backslashes — they must be
written as \n, \t, \" and \\. Escape converts your text
into such a literal (wrapped in quotes), which you can safely embed inside JSON payloads, log
lines or string templates. Unescape reverses the process by parsing the literal.

Does Escape also handle Unicode?
Yes — control characters and line breaks become \uXXXX or short escapes via native JSON.stringify semantics. Printable non-ASCII characters stay readable.
Is my data uploaded?
